Plasma cutting method of steel plate

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma cutting method for a steel plate under a suitable work environment without deterioration of a surface condition, as a method for cutting a steel plate causing a large amount of fume.;SOLUTION: The plasma cutting method is used for plasma cutting the steel plate placed on a cutting pedestal. The cutting pedestal has a support member supporting the steel plate in a horizontal state from below and a water tank having the support member arranged therein. In the water tank, coolant absorbing fume generated at the time of plasma cutting of the steel plate is filled up to height of a water surface where a rear surface of the steel plate does not get wet, preferably, such that distance from the bottom surface of the steel plate to the water surface is 10 to 70 mm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
