PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator rope diameter inspection jig capable of detecting shape collapse in both width direction and depth direction of the elevator rope.;SOLUTION: An elevator rope diameter inspection jig 7 detects shape collapse of each of a plurality of ropes 3 next to each other in the width direction. The elevator rope diameter inspection jig 7 comprises: a grip part 71 held by a maintenance inspector; and a pair of contact parts 72 having a prescribed gap therebetween so as to hold the rope 3 therein and fixed to the grip part 71. The grip part 71 is formed to extend from the rope 3 held by the pair of contact parts 72 on one side in the depth direction of the rope 3 than an adjacent rope 32 when the pair of contact parts 72 holds the rope 3 in the width direction, and extend from the rope 3 held by the pair of contact parts 72 on one side in the depth direction than the adjacent rope 32 when the pair of contact parts 72 holds the rope 3 in the depth direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
