PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using 3D geometric data for representing and controlling a virtual reality image in a 3D space.;SOLUTION: A method is disclosed for combining 3D model data while using a captured image set of an object that is captured at different angles of view, and a geometric parameter set corresponding to frames of captured images. In the method, an arithmetic unit is used for representing a real 3D image in real time and with high quality. The present invention further provides 3D geometric data to be used for a physical application. The 3D geometric data introduced for the same object from the same hardware system as an automatic or manual imaging system or an independent 3D geometric scanning system are made into a whole file packet by matching information while using a manual, semiautomatic or automatic software tool, and then represented by a browsing program in a 3D environment.
