PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder treatment agent which is safe with no generation of hydrogen, is suitably used in a surface treatment of powder, exhibits good compatibility with other raw materials of cosmetics, and therefore, improves a dispersing property and stability of powder contained in a cosmetic, and provides high water resistance, sebaceous resistance, glossiness, feeling, adhesiveness, and the like to the cosmetic, to provide a powder which has been subjected to a surface treatment with the powder treatment agent, and to provide a cosmetic raw material and a cosmetic which are produced by blending them, exhibit superior storage stability, have a superior outer appearance, and exhibit a superior sensation during use.;SOLUTION: A sugar alcohol-modified organopolysiloxane having a specified structure is used in the powder treatment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
