摘要

Isopropyl triisostearoyl titanium (ITT) is a high carboxylic type titnium coupling agents. This coupling agent is widly used as a surface-modifizer especially in USA and Europe. The powder treated with ITT is applied mainly in hot pour. The properties and functions of powders treated with ITT are shown as follows, (1) The treated powders are hydrophobic (i.e.liophylic), (2) Their oil sorption is less than that of untreated powders, (3) They have many advantages; for example, ① good dispersibility in oils, ② easy press by using small amounts of oils, ③ good absorption on the skin, and wet feeling, and ④ easy handling because of their fluidity of oil dispersion. And organic titanium bonded microspheres are light weight, and will remain powdery after absorbing more oil than their weight.
