PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chromium measurement reagent capable of sufficiently suppressing sensitivity degradation with the passage of time, and a chromium measurement reagent with high initial sensitivity.;SOLUTION: Diphenylcarbazide is dissolved into mixed organic solvents, such as acetone and ethanol. A chromium measurement reagent is obtained by adding water and phytic acid to the organic solvent solution and mixing therewith. As for the chromium measurement method, it is desirable to make a sample solution and the chromium measurement reagent react under an acidic condition and to measure absorbance. The deposition of the diphenylcarbazide crystal with the passage of time is prevented, and degradation of sensitivity is suppressed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
