PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless router capable of reducing power consumption at the wake-up and time required for communication establishment.SOLUTION: The wireless router that can be set to a sleep state includes: a plurality of WAN-side interfaces respectively connected to a plurality of access networks; a wake-up signal reception part capable of receiving a wake-up signal containing WAN selection information that indicates one of the plurality of access networks; a wake-up determination part that determines whether or not a signal received by the wake-up signal reception part is a wake-up signal; and WAN starting means that, if the wake-up determination section makes the determination returning TRUE, extracts WAN selection information from the received wake-up signal and causes one of the plurality of WAN-side interfaces in a stop state to start according to the indication of the WAN selection information.
