Method for producing modified cellulose nanofiber, modified cellulose nanofiber, resin composition and molded product thereof

A step of producing cellulose nanofiber by refining cellulose in a defibrating resin, and a step of obtaining a modified cellulose nanofiber by reacting a hydroxyl group of the cellulose nanofiber with a cyclic polybasic acid (A) in the defibrating resin. A method for producing modified cellulose nanofibers is provided. Furthermore, the modified cellulose nanofiber obtained by the said manufacturing method, the resin composition containing this modified cellulose nanofiber, and its molded object are provided.
