PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersing resin which can prepare a color-matched paint or a primary color paint having excellent pigment dispersibility, color tone stability and color tone stability with the lapse of time when being dissolved into a weak solvent, a pigment-dispersed body using the same, and a color-matched paint and a primary color paint obtainable by using the pigment-dispersed body.SOLUTION: The pigment dispersing resin solution includes a (modified) acrylic resin and a weak solvent. In the (modified) acrylic resin, the number-average molecular weight is 2,000 to 14,000, at least one of an acid value or an amine value is 0.1 to 15 mgKOH/g, and also, a hydroxyl value is 0 to 15 mgKOH/g. The pigment dispersing resin solution includes a specified polymerizable unsaturated monomer by 10 to 35 mass% to the (modified) acrylic resin content and a (meth)acrylic acid ester-based monomer, in which the SP value of a homopolymer is ≤9.2, by 15 to 90 mass% to the (modified) acrylic resin content. The pigment-dispersed body includes the pigment dispersing resin solution and a pigment, and the color-matched paint or primary color paint includes the pigment-dispersed body.
