PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an optimum production configuration even when production efficiency of a facility changes due to a production amount of a product when a plurality of kinds of products are produced.;SOLUTION: A product configuration determination method comprises the steps (S1 to S6) of: storing a selling price per unit production amount for each product; storing a production route for each product; storing a processing amount of each facility per unit production amount for each product; storing a load characteristic for each prescribed range of the processing amount for each facility of each product; storing a processing capability for each facility; and storing a variable cost per unit load for each facility of each product. The method further comprises the steps (S7 to S8) of: calculating a load for each facility of each product on the basis of the processing amount for each facility of each product which is calculated from a facility processing amount basic unit for each facility having referred to the production amount for each product and the production route and a load characteristic for each processing amount range; and determining and outputting the production amount for each product which maximizes an evaluation index being a difference between a selling price calculated from the production amount for each product and a selling unit price and the variation cost calculated from the processing amount for each facility of each product and a variation unit cost under a prescribed restriction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
