The invention relates to a stator for a low pressure compressor of an axial turbomachine. The stator comprises an annular row of stator vanes with connecting vanes (38), and support vanes (36) grouped together in bladed boxes (40). The boxes (40) include internal platforms (42) and external platforms (44); they are entirely produced by additive manufacturing based on titanium powder. The stator shows a circular internal ferrule (32) formed by the internal platforms (42) of the vanes of the boxes and the internal ferrule segments (46) attached to the connecting vanes (38). The internal platforms (42) include pairs of mating surfaces for interlocking the ferrule segments therein by abutting and sliding against the mating surfaces. The contact surfaces are perpendicular to the axis of rotation and form axial stops.
