The use of metasilicate, sodium orthosilicate and other minerals, silicate dispersed in polyurethane, as a catalyst in the reactions of transesterification and esterification. The present invention consists in preparing and use of catalyst used in the reactions of transesterification and ES Terificau00e7u00e3o, however dispersed in polymeric matrix of polyurethane.The use of such technical promotes the reduction of impurities in the product such as the waste catalysts and soap, generating a smaller quantity of wastewater. In addition, the preparation can be made without major complications and with low cost. One of the advantages is the reuse of the catalyst making the process more efficient.The procedure consists in mixing mineral silicate dispersed in polyurethane with oil, fats or fatty acids with alcohols with an oil / alcohol molar ratio ranging from 1 / 1 to 1 / 50, in particular in the range from 1 / 3 to 1 / 15. The mass of the catalyst is in the range of 0.2 to 15% in relation to the mass of oil preferably between 0.5 to 5%.The oil used may be any oil of vegetable origin or any source of triglycerides. The silicates should be added to the polyol at a rate of 10% to 60% in relation to the polyol under high agitation and then added to the mixture of isocyanate NCO / Oh, the reason of 0.5 to 10.
