a process for assisting in the deployment of a plurality of access points of a radio communication infrastructure along a railway and system for the implementation of a process. The present invention relates to a method of assisting in the deployment of a plurality of access points of a radio communication infrastructure along a railway track (10,12). Such a process provides: a first and a second sender trolley (1, 3), and each sender trolley is suitable for driving along the track and has a transmission means (17,37); and further provides a receiving trolley (2; 2 ') suitable for driving along the track and comprising at least one receiving means and / or each receiving means (27, 27'). The process allows iterating the steps that consist of: a) placing the first sender (1) at a point of the road that corresponds to the deployment point of an access point determined in the previous iteration; b) when the emission means of the first emitting cart (1) emits a first characteristic signal, moving the receiving cart (2; 2 ') in a first direction (f), at a distance from the first emitting cart; c) as soon as said quantity (p1, p11) relative to the first characteristic signal is less than a reference value (p0), immobilize the receiving trolley (2); d) when the emission means of the second emitting trolley (3) emits a second characteristic signal, moving the second emitting trolley (3) in the first direction (f), at a distance from the receiving trolley (2); e) as soon as said quantity (p3, p31) relative to the second characteristic signal is less than the reference value (po), immobilize the second emitting trolley (3); and f) memorizing the current position (pk'1) of the second sender as the deployment point of an access point.
