The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing a therapeutically amount of a polypeptide being selected from the group consisting of SEQ. ID. No. 2, SEQ. ID. No. 4, SEQ. ID. No. 6, SEQ. ID. No. 8, SEQ. ID. No. 10, SEQ. ID. No. 12 and SEQ. ID. No. 14 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, a method for the diagnosis of retinal dystrophy in a human, a recombinant polypeptide, a process for preparing such polypeptide, as well as a recombinant antibody and a fragment thereof.
