Method of increasing efficiency of removal organic substances produced by blue-green algae and algae when modifying properties of water by coagulation

The efficiency of removal organic substances produced by blue-green algae and algae when modifying properties of water by coagulation is increased by a slight and partial oxidation of these substances with the addition of potassium permanganate solution prior the actual coagulation. By subsequent coagulation using aluminium or iron salt, there is achieved a higher efficiency of the removal of AOM or a wider range of the water optimal pH value during coagulation or lower dosage of a coagulant needful for the same degree of the removal of these substances
