AUTONOMOUS SAILBOAT FOR OCEANOGRAPHIC CURRENT CONTROL

A group of autonomous sailing vessels equipped with control and communication equipment for transmitting information about the surrounding and other conditions. In order to achieve optimum stability, autonomous sailing vessels perform multi-hull vessels (catamarans) with self-balancing capabilities. Each sailing vessel sends and receives information through one or more satellite communication lines, using solar energy to activate communication equipment, as well as monitoring equipment. Each sailing vessel contains a system of automatic balancing of the sail to maintain the desired angle of attack with the wind and an electric propulsor for use, if necessary, to maintain a predetermined course. The modular design is used to support the task-related on-board equipment.
