The present invention relates to new compounds. The compounds according to the invention are agonists of the Hedgehog signaling pathway. In particular, the compounds according to the invention are used as Smoothened agonists (SMO). The invention also contemplates the use of compounds for treating diseases amenable to treatment by inhibiting the Hedgehog signaling pathway and SMO, for example cancer.
