The invention relates to the field of pharmaceutics and medicine, in particular to monopegylated interferon IFN α-2b of a branched structure, in which polyethylene glycol fragment is bound to protein by an amide bond. The technical result of the invention provides in creation of covalent conjugate IFN α-2b with prolonged circulation in the blood flow and enhanced characteristics of antiviral activity and immunogenicity, as well as pharmaceutical composition for preparing a medicament having interferon-alpha activity.
