A graphene based conducting nanotube composite preferably graphene/polyaniline conducting composite material involving highly conducting polyaniline nanotubes. The composites have nanotubular shape having average diameter 200~220 nm and follows a green method of reduction of graphene oxide and wherein the process for manufacture involves an environment friendly process free of use of external inorganic acids, hazardous chemicals or drastic reaction conditions which would be simple and cost-effective. Characterization of the nanotubes and its capability of electronic and electrochemical applications due to its increased conductivity and enhanced surface area are discussed.
