摘要

The present invention provides a process for the production of nanocomposite polymeric membrane as an ionic conductor and separator for lithium polymer batteries prepared therefrom. The polymeric membranes are produced by a hot press method at high temperature with a combination of inert filler and a lithium salt. The thickness of the prepared membranes is of 50-70 microns. The membranes are thermally stable in the range of 100 to 300�C and tensile strength of 5.3 to 6 MPa. The polymeric electrolyte membranes deliver reversible capacities in the range of 36 to 130 mAhg-1 with a flat profile at 0.1 C-rate.
