A process for the development of a solid-state sensor for azidothymidine (anti hiv drug) and ensor for azidothymidine (anti hiv drug) prepared thereby

A novel Azidothymidine (Anti HIV drug) sensor is developed based on a solid-state modified electrode protected with polymer film. For the construction of the solid-state AZT sensor electrode nano metal particles capped with polymers is coated over the metal-disc or conducting ink printed electrodes. The modified solid state electrode is used to detect the AZT in wide range of concentration in aqueous and blood samples. AZT sensor provides excellent reproducibility of the measurements of AZT drug in the aqueous as well as biological samples with the luM detection limit. No any interference is observed in the aqueous or biological samples and also no sample preparation is required for the detection.
