A system for reduction in reaction angular momentum in a rotorcraft’s cockpit is disclosed wherein a mechanism to isolate the cockpit of a rotorcraft from the main rotor is provided, so that the cockpit is magnetically levitated and virtually suspended in mid-air, involving a pair of magnetic discs providing uniform and straight magnetic lines of forces, which together keep the cockpit suspended. The cockpit has magnetized plates at the ends for the magnetic interaction to take place. The torsional isolation from shaft together with the vertical levitation ensures negating the rotary effects on the cockpit. In the above system, Rotor, Main shaft and Main Gear together rotate in anti-clockwise direction (viewed from top of the rotor) while the Motor and Motor Base i.e. the lower disc together rotate in clock-wise direction such that these two systems together balance out the angular momentum, thus ensuring safety and stability of the rotor craft.
