Due to complex harness in nature, Electrical loom routing path and looms are passing through a non-crimped cutout in most of the cases on the aircraft. It is very become cumbersome process as other system pipe line will always come in way of electrical looms. Hence use of proper grommets for the non- crimped cutouts where sharp edges may cause chaffing for the cables passing through those cutouts are essential. These grommets can be put on the cutouts during structural assembly, itself to reduce the production time.
