METHOD OF IDENTIFYING HEADER BLOCK AND DATA BLOCK IN A FILE

The present invention discloses a method of identifying header block and data block in a file. The method comprises generating a regex pattern for the header block from a sample part of the file, scanning the regex pattern of one or more lines present in the file for identifying the one or more header blocks present in the file and determining the one or more header blocks in the file when the regex pattern occurrence being above a pre-defined number. The regex pattern for the header block is generated from a sample part of the file by performing the method steps which comprises extracting a sample part from the file, scanning each line of the sample part for determining a length of each line determining the header block based on a pre-defined header length, constructing the regex pattern for the determined herder block and storing the regex pattern in a local memory.
