The present invention relates to the development of a new type of antimicrobial molecule (AbTids) which is modular in nature, adaptable against a multitude of pathogens, combining the best therapeutic properties of antibodies (Ab-) and catiomc antimicrobial peptides (-Tids) to target microbes, particularly against dangerous pathogenic multidrug resistant bacteria such as Pseudomonas and Staphylococcus . These are stable, safe, and easy to produce and result in higher efficacy in low dosages.
