A method for contour estimation for a LTAP. The method comprising receiving a power requirement. Further selecting an array of solar photovoltaic module. The method may further comprise computing a payload based on the array of solar photovoltaic module selected. A first set of data pertaining to an array may be calculated, wherein the array defines number of plurality of solar photovoltaic module and a distribution matrix of the array. Further computing the payload in a volumetric scale and determining a length and a diameter of the LTAP.
