A NOVEL GREEN ACID CATALYST MANUFACTURED FROM WASTE OF ORGANIC CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES.

A Novel green acid catalyst, working as Multifunctional Activated Carbon being an ideal alternate of traditional "Activated Carbon", manufactured from waste of organic chemical industries carbonization of organic hazardous waste viz. "carbonaceous powder" from dyes and dye intermediates industries. Wherein the functional compound that will exchange the compound of carbonization and contain the sulfonic acid group density is 0.5 mmole/g to 4.0 mmole/g. Wherein "carbonaceous powder" is heated for 4 to 10 hours at 750°c to 800°c in presence of Nitrogen, following by cooling at the room temperature, washing in water, filtration using filter press, dry, get the carbon back solid acid catalyst promptly.
