SYSTEM, METHOD FOR INPUTTING CANDIDATE WORDS OF BRAHMI BASED LANGUAGES USING LIMITED SET OF KEYS

Disclosed is a system for inputting a candidate word of Brahmi based languages using a keypad. An input receiving module receives a first input from a user via the keypad for each character, of a candidate word, to be inputted. The layer and group determining module determines a layer, from a plurality of layers, and a group corresponding to the layer based on the first input. The display module displays a set of predefined characters present in the group to the user on a Graphical User Interface (GUI). The input receiving module receives a second input from the user via the keypad in order to select at least one character from the set of predefined characters. The display module displays the candidate word by concatenating each character received from the user thereby inputting the candidate word of the Brahmi based languages using the keypad.
