The present invention relates to an automated system of solid waste management (10) using the application of networking technology for smart means of collection and management. The system relates more particularly to solid waste management utilizing robotic systems with attached sensors to address the growing challenge of garbage management in urban areas. The real time information on the status of the dustbins is provided for continuous garbage monitoring by the data provided from the sensors. This provision helps to design the shortest path for garbage collection to save the fuel cost and manage the labor cost.
