Abstracts The present application relates to design self-healing coating which, comprises corrosion inhibition using nanocapsules sonochemical approach. It is always a challenge to make stable nanocapsules in-situ polymerization which is making of poly urea formaldehyde as shell and vegetable oil as core material. These nanocapsules with size 58 nm are dispersing in two pack epoxy system using planetary ball mill for making self-healing anticorrosion coating. This system is cost effective and flexible to synthesis. Developed process will replace the expensive use of self-healing agent and Grubbs catalyst and hence have commercial viability: The invention also describes the improved corrosion inhibition with. self-healing ability using electrochemical workstation.
