METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR THE NEAR TRIAD EXAMINATION IN FREE SPACE CONDITIONS

The invention relates to a vision examination, in particular to the equipment and techniques for the near triad examination in free space conditions.The proposed method of the near triad examination in free space conditions includes the following sequential steps: set up of settings for vergence measurements; calibration procedure for vergence measurements; measurements of vergence response in free space condition using video-based eye tracker; measurements of accommodation response using photorefractive method; measurements of pupil diameter using video-based pupillometry technique; control of number of measurements.The described device for examination of the near triad in free space conditions includes: the module for accommodation response measurements and pupil size evaluation (1) with a mirror system; at least one of vergence stimulation modules (2); the electromechanical screen (3); the module of eye movement registration (5). All described elements are joined in a single system.
