EXTENDED-RELEASE SYSTEM FOR THE INTEGRAL HANDLE OF AGRICULTURAL, FOREST AND URBAN PESTS.

The extended-release system of semiochemicals is characterized in that it is a composite material formed by a continuous phase and a disperse phase used in the integral handling of agricultural, livestock, forest and urban pests. In the composite material of the continuous-release system, obtained at a temperature lower than 55°C, the continuous phase may be a hydrophobic gel or an oil with a variety of viscosities acquired with the addition of a plurality of thickeners, gelling agents or viscosity modifiers and the disperse phase may be formed by a porous or cross-linked structure support, which may be an organic cross-linked polymer or an inorganic sorbent. The application of the extended-release system is performed by semiochemicals attracting fruit flies (A. obliqua), which comprises the following percentages by weight: a) at least 13.0 - 25.0% of polymer disperse phase; b) food preservers such as potassium sorbate and benzoate in a range of 0.15 to 3.0% each; c) any food dye in a range of 0.15 to 3.0%; d) semiochemicals; e) and the continuous phase in a range of 13.0-26.0%. The invention refers to the composite material, the extended-release system, the use thereof with the semiochemicals and insecticides and the process for preparing the same at temperatures lower than 55°C.
