Refers to an in vitro method to determine the activity of nu20133 polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) of a sample of Fish OilComprising: (a) providing a First test system that includes a First sequence of mRNA encoded by a First coding region Gene Biomarker that has a First Protein linked to a Reporter as a leading developer of Biomarker; (b) to provide a Second test system that includes a Second sequence of mRNA encoded by a Second Gene biOmarcador has a coding region for a Second Reporter Protein operatively linked to a Second promoter of Biomarker; (c) contacting the second test system with the sample of fish oil; and (d) to detect the levels of Transcription of such First And second sequences of mRNA using real-time polymerase chain reaction (rtu2013pcr).The sample Fish Oil PUFA has activity if half the transcriptional upregulation of the second Gene Biomarker, or if the level of Transcription of the mRNA sequence is greater than the first sequence of mRNA.These biomarkers were selected first and second genes between Nucleic Acid sequences which encode prou2013apoptotica C / EBP homologous Protein (CHOP), a link to er Chaperone Protein (BIP), Activating Transcription Factor 4 (atfu20134), and link to xu2013box Protein 1 (xbpu20131).
