According to the invention, the reduction unit comprises a worm (19), made of alloy steel hardened by carburizing and quenching or by nitriding, with finished flanks, arranged, by means of some radial-axial bearings (18 and 20), within a housing (1), where, symmetrically in respect of the worm (19), there are arranged two front worm wheels (9 and 12) made, depending on the desired bearing capacity, of bronze, silvery pig iron or graphite nodule, or of alloy steel hardened by carburizing and quenching or by nitriding, by means of a feather key (13), the shaft (6) being supported by means of some rolling bearings (7 and 12) by the housing (1), the play between the worm (19) and the two plane worm wheels (9 and 12) taking place by means of a washer (8), the reduction unit being provided with some covers (4 and 14, and 10 and 21, respectively), the sealing being provided by some oil retainers (5 and 22), a plug (2) being provided for the outflow of the waste oil and the oil level being viewed through a transparent eye sight (3), the said plug (22) allowing the oil introduction or completion and a ring (11) enabling the reduction unit catching by means of a lifting hook.
