The invention relates to a layered composite to be used in making components for motor vehicle industry and chemical industry. According to the invention, the composite is made of a polypropylene-based thermoplastic polymer as a homopolymer or copolymer, compatibilized with maleic anhydride-grafted polypropylene and reinforced with glass fibre cloth with the surface functionalized with organosilanes.
