METHOD OF EXAMINING MOBILITY OF EYEBALLS

The method of examining the mobility of the eyeballs consists in measuring the maximal lateral displacement of the eyeballs in different gaze positions. The positions of both eyes are photographed simultaneously in various gaze positions: upward, downward, upward-outward, upward-inward, downward-outward, downward-inward, downward convergent. The images obtained are analyzed with the aid of computer soft. The displacement of the pupil center relative to the initial position (straight forward gaze) is measured and compared with the data obtained in the healthy persons. According to these findings, the mobility of the eyeballs is estimated.
