STAND FOR INVESTIGATION OF WORKPIECE OSCILLATING PROCESS UNDER CYLINDRICAL CUTTING

摘要

A stand for investigation of workpiece oscillating process under cylindrical cutting has a heavy base to which a control plate is fixed in such a way that one part of the plate is tightly pressed to the base and second part is overhung, and test specimen is tightly fixed on the end of the overhung part of the control plate. A displacement transducer opposite to the test specimen is fixed to the stand heavy base and connected to recording instruments such as analog-to-digital converter and computing machine. In the centre of overhung part of the control plate a vertical slot is made, therein control plate additional mass capable of changing position throughout the height of slot is arranged. The stand heavy base is arranged on dielectric surface, and power source is connected to the stand. A movable current collector is connected to milling cutter and connected to recording instruments and to analyzer of contact area between milling cutter and test specimen.
