METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF GASTROESOPHAGEAL REFLUX DISEASE

The method for the surgical treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease includes the formation of the complete fundoplication cuff using Teflon sheath in the process of cuff fixation. For cuff fixation, the thread with Teflon sheath is used for sewing. First, the anterior lip of the cuff is stitched, then the esophageal wall and the posterior lip. The second Teflon sheath is used for sewing in the opposite direction generating the knot on the first sheath, two sutures being applied.
