The method for assessing the effect of hepatoprotective drugs on the cytolysis in rat blood serum with toxic hepatitis includes blood tests. In the setting of the toxic hepatitis, the following substances are given to the rats once a day as a gavage: selenase at a dose of 50 µg/kg, ademethionine at a dose of 100 mg/kg, epadol at a dose of 100 mg/kg, livonorm at a dose of 100 mg/kg, detoxyl at a dose of 100 mg/kg. Thee cytolysis level and anticytolitic activity of the substances are assessed. The findings are compared with controls to ascertain the effects of the substances under study on the cytolysis in rat blood serum.
