METHOD FOR SUBCUTANEOUS BREAST AMPUTATION IN PATIENTS WITH NODAL GYNECOMASTIA

The method for subcutaneous breast amputation in the patients with nodal gynecomastia comprises semicircular subareolar skin dissection over, the separation of lipodermal flaps, the one-piece removal of the breast, the suturing of the skin flaps to the greater pectoral muscle, the layer-by-layer suturing of the wound, and the plastic reconstruction. Beforehand, the breast is marked periareolarly according to the radius corresponding to the desired decrease of breast size followed by deepidermization of skin surrounding areola within the margins of the marked flap. The skin is dissected subareolarly sparing the bridge over areola, the lipodermal flaps are separated, the breast is removed in one-piece mode, and the "round block" reposition of the papillary-areolar complex is provided.
