PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF DIESEL BIOFUEL OF HEMP-SEED OIL

A process for the preparation of diesel biofuel of hemp-seed oil involves processes of filtration with separation of attendant impurities, neutralization of free fatty acids, oil washing with salt solution and water, decontamination and reesterification. Hemp-seed oil with content of free fatty acids of 40-95 mg KOH/g is used, and neutralization thereof is performed by three-stage esterification with strong sulphuric acid in amount of 10% of weight for 2 hours at a temperature of 60-65°C with constant stirring with separation of water and alcohol. Methanol and sulphuric acid are taken in mole ratio of 9:1, and refined oil is fed for reesterification with addition of methanol and catalyst KOH.
