DEVICE FOR THE INVESTIGATION OF CONTACT FRICTION CONDITIONS

A device for the investigation of contact friction conditions comprises a cutting ring, mandrel as a rod with shank portion, container with upper and lower half-dies, and pressure capsule connected to recording device. The receiving cavity of the device for tubular specimen has a variable cross-section with tapering downwards, the cavity is formed by lateral surface of the tapered mandrel as a rod with shank portion, inner lateral surface of the upper half-die has cylindrical form and is capable of interacting with the pressure capsule.
