METHOD FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF YOUNG FISH POPULATIONS USING LARVAL FISH INDEX OF CENOTIC VALUE (LFICV)

A method for environmental assessment of young fish populations using the larval fish index of the cenotic value (LFICV) includes catching young fish on the third decade of July – the first decade of August in shallow water of water reservoirs, after what it is divided by the species and age, then the number of individuals is counted and measurements of individual mass of individuals are conducted to the nearest 0.01 g, then for each of the age groups the number and fish biomass per unit area of ​​the reservoir are separately calculated.
