PROCESS OF PRODUCING FIBER FROM SNAKE PLANT (Sansevieria trifasciata)

The utility model relates to the fiber production and more particularly to the process of producing fiber from Sansevieria trifasciata. The process comprises: a. cutting the leaves from the plant base; b. sun drying of the leaves for three days to remove the moisture to produce a strong fiber; c. scraping of the leaves using comb-like handy metal to separate the fiber from lamina and veins; d. rasping the fiber using knife to remove moisture content and remaining impurities from the lamina and veins during scraping; e. washing of the fiber in clean water placed in large basin; f. sun drying of fiber for 6 hours to obtain the finish product.
