An objective of the present invention is to maintain an article of a box shape in a level state even when holding a carrier bag storing the article of a box shape and a bag or holding the carrier bag and another carrier bag. A carrier bag (40) comprises: a storage portion (41) to store an article (20) of a generally cuboid shape; and two handle portions (42, 43) extended from a long upper edge (44) of one side of the carrier bag (40) which comes in contact with any one edge of the article (20) of the generally cuboid shape to reach an opposite long edge (45) of the other side of the carrier bag (40). The carrier bag is manufactured by performing a sealing process, a process of removing an unnecessary portion, a cutting/separating process, or a fusing process on a cylindrical plastic film moving in line.
