A binder composition for the nodulization of fine mineral particles, comprising a) at least one colloidal agent exerting a cohesive force on the mineral particles that form the nodules, and b) at least one synthetic polymer that disperses the mineral particles in the nodules, in which the synthetic polymer is a condensation product of at least one aldehyde and at least one compound containing two or more NH2 groups, the compound containing two or more NH2 groups being represented by the formula ** Formula ** wherein X means an aliphatic, linear, branched or cyclic residue containing 1-10 carbon atoms, both of which may contain oxygen and nitrogen atoms or one or more additional amino groups, and. the aldehyde being represented by the formula ** Formula ** in which R means H, -CHO or an aliphatic hydrocarbyl residue containing 1-4 carbon atoms, which may contain oxygen atoms.
