Polymeric monoterpenes to treat altered neurological function

A pharmaceutical composition for therapeutic use in the treatment of altered neurological function, in which the pharmaceutical composition comprises at least one polymeric form of a monoterpene, in which the monoterpene is selected from the group consisting of allocyan, limonene, α -phene, β-pinene, geranyl acetate, 3-carene and 2-carene, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier; and wherein the composition is substantially devoid of the corresponding monomeric form of said monoterpene.
