Use of glyceryl trinitrate for treating traumatic edema

Glyceryl trinitrate (GTN) for use in the treatment of traumatic edema, wherein the traumatic edema is characterized by the temporary appearance of conditions swelling after bone fractures, contusions, sprains, dislocations, impacts, shocks or falls in where traumatic edema secondary lymphedema is not traumatic, and wherein the glyceryl trinitrate (GTN) is applied topically.
