A sustained-release tablet having a two-phase release control system, consisting of a first phase of release control comprising pregabalin or its salt and hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose and a second phase of release control comprising oxide of polyethylene as a swelling polymer, the first phase of release control being homogeneously dispersed in the second phase of release control.
