The present disclosure includes an apparatus, which includes: a transparentcover, a housing to form a first compartment with the transparent cover, oneor morelight emitting diodes disposed inside the first compartment, and a lightingdriver moduledisposed inside the first compartment and electrically coupled with the one ormore lightemitting diodes, the lighting driver module including a rectifier to convertan AC signal toa DC signal, a current sensor to measure current supplied to the one or morelightemitting diodes and to provide information related to the measured current, afirstswitching device electrically coupled with the rectifier and with the one ormore lightemitting diodes, and being capable of being controlled by a controller tointerrupt orallow a transmission of the DC signal to the one or more light emittingdiodes, based onthe information provided by the current sensor.
